Pravljičnost in pestrost izvirne zgodbe narekujeta številne scenske menjave in prehode. Figurativne in ilustrativne elemente libreta smo zamenjali z osnovnimi abstrahiranimi scenskimi elementi, kot so tla, kulisa z odprtinami, trikotna skulptura, zavese, svetlobna linija in geometrične projekcije. Za ohranitev epske razsežnosti uprizoritve smo s kombiniranjem scenskih elementov, kostumov in lučnega oblikovanja ustvarili vrsto estetiziranih odrskih kompozicij, ki uokvirjajo ali podlagajo zvočne slike te izjemne glasbene mojstrovine. Z ustvarjalno ekipo smo tako razvili minimalistično, geometrično likovno govorico jasnih barv in močnih svetlobnih atmosfer.

The fairytale nature and variegation of the original story dictate numerous set changes and transitions. We changed the libretto’s figurative and illustrative elements with basic abstracted set elements such as the floor, scenery with openings, a triangular sculpture, curtains, light line and geometrical projections. In order to retain the epic dimension of the staging, we combined the set elements, costumes and lighting design, thus creating a series of aestheticised stage compositions that framed or backed the sound images of this exceptional musical masterpiece. With our creative team, we thus developed a minimalist, geometrical graphic language of clear colours and powerful light atmospheres.
